Taqueria Ay Jalisco in West Sacramento

There is a woman making homemade corn tortillas the size of large flour tortillas right in the restaurant. They are SO good. I had the taco salad with chicken and my BF had the carne asada plate and both were delicious. The salsa bar and tortilla chips are fresh and homemade. The menu is large with tons of variety. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I had my go to for this joint, a carnitas burrito, no sour cream. More food than I could finish.

Standard Mexican cuisine at decent prices. Nothing too noteworthy, but they do have a wide selection of food. Free chips and salsa with your purchase so that's always a plus.

It use to be my favorite spot, the last time I went there, I can’t believe how small there burritos are, and they charge $10 for it, it was half the size, very disappointed, talking about taking advantage of, Well the lost my business 😞

Huge menu!!!! Reasonably priced. It's a little busy but more than enough room to eat. Parking was minimal though. Their tacos and nachos are amazing and they were pretty fast. The staff were very friendly and helpful if you have questions.

Easily one of the best taquerias in (West) Sacramento. It's the only place I've been where the chicken was cooked and held properly. It was juicy although not super flavorful on it's own.. but their fresh salsa was amazing and more than made up the difference. Great right off the freeway spot to grab a super tasty lunch.

Tasty Mexican food. They sometimes have a lady making fresh tortillas out in the dining area! Prices are a liiiittle high but the food tastes good and everyone is nice so it doesn’t matter!

I did not like this place at all,I ordered a Chicken Taco and it was soo mushy that when they served it too me everything was already falling out of it

I do not recommend this place it was very busy looked like a good place but the super burrito I ordered was no good and this was my second time here first time was no good so I decided to give it another shot to be fair but nope it was nasty again but the costumer service was great the people working we're very nice the food no good sorry .

Very much a fan. Solid taco and burrito options, and lots of other menu items. Definitely go for weekend brunch - great breakfast items, and hand made tortillas made fresh!

A perfectly good taco!Here's what you need to know:1. The prices are incredible reasonable.2. The salsa bar is the standout feature here. Everything is super fresh and beyond the ordinary. It's just great stuff 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥3. The tacos and burritos are fine, we're not breaking any new ground. 4. Parking is limited, you might have to drive around a bit. 5. The place is huge, seating is never an issue. 6. It's a really good taco shop serving up really good Mexican food. It's worth going for the salsa alone!

I have been going to this restaurant for years ordering the same exact way they now refuse go add on avocado the food is expensive and it is hit and miss sometimes it's good sometimes its burnt I will no longer be coming here

Better than average food, best salsa I've ever had in my life

This is literally the best Mexican food. The salsa is fresh and the best around along with the chips. Carnitas soft tacos with everything and sour cream salsa on top.. best thing that I've ever eaten.

I have come to this place at least once a week for 11 years! I come back each time because the food is fresh and delicious, authentic and when I say always, I mean always great! They have consistency in their cooking and their service, which is always friendly and welcoming! There are a lot of choices for Mexican style food and I have tried others but I always come back to Jalisco. Try the chorizo and eggs with fresh fluffy, huge corn tortillas made by hand in front of you on the weekends! So yum!

Carnitas burrito sucked. I have tried this solace twice and sad to say I won't be coming back. I can make better food at home... And that's really saying something!

These guys rock!! Most restaurants when you ask for spicy they always make it mild. Not this place, if you ask for spicy it's actually spicy. This is coming from someone who douses everything in half a bottle of Sriracha sauce. The food is always great, the salsa tasty and spicy as well. Was a nice welcome back to CA moving back from WA.
